Work In Progress (WIP)

This image, still in the rough-out stages right now is a personal project to try
and capture the feel and emotion behind the character that is Ender Wiggin.

First, I drew several small thumbnail sketches to work out my ideas on composition.

Once I found a pose and composition I was happy with, I created the final sketch.

Here I am building up some of the features of the room and working out my light sources.

Now I begin to apply the base colors to the foreground figure, trying to get the form and light right.
